The Pigeon Detectives es una banda de indie rock de Rothwell, Leeds, Inglaterra que se formó en 2002. Esta farmada por Matt Bowman (voz solista), Oliver Main (guitarra principal), Ryan Wilson (guitarra rítmica) Dave Best (bajo) y Jimmi Naylor (batería).

Wait for Me es el album debut de la banda, y a mi gusto el mejor que tienen. Es una buena combinacion de rock/pop britanico y buenas letras.
